Marvel’s Civil War # 1-7 Spoiler and Explainer
CIVIL WAR # 5
In the days following the death of Bill Foster, things have changed. Alliances have shifted and new players join the war. Johnny and Sue Storm Richards are seen evading SHIELD’s capekillers in the skies of Manhattan.
While former Team Rogers members Stature (Cassie Lang) and Nighthawk join the Pro-Registration group.
Above them, Spider-Man and Iron Man get into a heated argument about the rights and wrongs of this war. Parker has been visibly strained by the death of Goliath and the appearance of a cyborg Thor cloned from the real Asgardian God of Thunder.
It doesn’t end well and Peter decides to leave Iron Man’s team.
Peter manages to escapes Stark Tower and the Thunderbolts and several other villains are notified about the escape.
The chase wounds up in the sewers beneath Stark Tower.
Down and out, Peter faces arrest for turning traitor;
Punisher rescues Spider-Man in the sewers and brings him to Captain America’s secret base.
This appearance of Frank Castle makes the team think of adding him to the team as he has experience fighting both bad guys and good guys, plus he did save Spider-Man from the baddies.
Also Tigra is revealed to be the team’s traitor as she is seen recording/reporting the activities of Team Cap.
Days later, Daredevil is apprehended by SHIELD. He is sent to Ryker’s Island but it looks like that’s just the beginning.
Stark tries to make Matt Murdock see his point while they enter Project 42, the prison Reed and Tony built for anti-registration heroes in the Negative Zone.
The issue ends with Daredevil giving Stark a silver dollar, signifying him being the Judas Iscariot of their lot.
