Thunderbolts poster getting some negative buzz for using AI for “Bob” Image
Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts poster was released together with the Thunderbolts teaser trailer yesterday and fans are giving it a solid approval although there are some negative comments that popped later particularly towards the use of AI technology on one particular character in the poster, Lewis Pullman’s character, “Bob” who comic books easily recognize as the civilian identity of the superpowered being known as “The Sentry”.
Above is the poster in it’s edited form. The original one showed “Bob” a little more particularly his hands which many people online found to have six fingers. Apparently the image below was from the first version of the poster that came out.
X users were able to spot this inaccuracy which shows Bob having six fingers instead of the usual five fingers.
Some users even went as far as recreate how this happened and kind of went technical on explaining what happened. But the simple version is that Marvel may have wanted to showcase Bob a little more clearly in the poster that they released last night. Only problem was it had the extra appendage.
A little weird but it’s definitely a small blunder in what looks to be a solid action movie from Marvel Studios.
