Aside from being a spinoff for Infinite Frontier, this is where most of the action will take place and they’ve already narrowed down the main villain for the series and that would be Darkseid or more specifically Finite Darkseid, who recently murdered some of the most powerful beings in the DCU except for Wonder Woman who left the council before they were butchered.

In the back of my mind, this timing is also perfect as DC is currently preparing a “Black” Superman movie with Michael B. Jordan’s name attached to the project. Meanwhile there were also whispers and rumors about introducing Flashpoint Batman aka Thomas Wayne via the solo Flash movie starring Ezra Miller. Even the actor who played Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had already expressed his desire to become one of the more popular alternate reality Batmans in the current timeline.
