In an ironic twist, this Cebu-based shoe store’s grand opening was closed by local authorities after generating huge crowds.

This store, JS Footwear opened today as part of the massively popular 11.11 sale all over the place when it raked in a lot of consumers. And with the COVID-19 pandemic still raging on, it was bound to make people call them out. Plus photos have been shared online where the crowds were not following proper social distancing protocols. Some were even snapped without face masks or face shields.

This new development was posted on Facebook together with the photos as you can see below.

Cebu recently got out of the ECQ status after cases of COVID-19 in the area spiked. With the relaxed lockdown status, it was time foe the economy to try and bounce back.
