Adventure Awaits in Visions Of Mana – Available Now!
Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and SQUARE ENIX® released Visions of Mana, the first mainline installment in the Mana series in more than 17 years, on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC* (via Microsoft Store and Steam®). *Steam® version releases 30 August 2024.
Visions of Mana returns to the series’ action-RPG roots, taking players on a new adventure with protagonist Val, a newly appointed soul guard, on his journey to accompany his childhood friend and the Alm of Fire, Hinna, to the Tree of Mana in order to rejuvenate the mana flow.

Visions of Mana Demo
In the demo, players will embark on a journey that begins partway through Chapter 1, starting at Rime Falls and continuing into different areas, including the Fallow Steppe and Rhata Harbor. Those who are up for the challenge can also take on the chapter’s final boss, the Kraken.

Story
In Tianeea, the Fire Village, everyone is preparing for the coming of the Faerie and the naming of an “alm.” Every four years, alms from around the world are chosen to travel to the Tree of Mana and rejuvenate the flow of Mana power by offering their souls. A soul guard accompanies the chosen alms to ensure their safe pilgrimage.
On the day of the Faerieʼs arrival, Val, the new soul guard, brings his childhood friend, Hinna, to the festival. As the sun falls beneath the skyline, all the spectators wait with bated breath, hoping to be chosen as an alm. The Faerie finally descends before Hinna, appointing her the Alm of Fire.
The villagers bid them both farewell, praying for their success as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
What is the Mana series?
Originally released in 1991 as FINAL FANTASY ADVENTURE, a spin-off title for the FINAL FANTASY series, the game’s positive reception established it as its own standalone action RPG franchise.
