The countdown continues till Disney+ officially drops more X-Men content on their platform with the much-anticipated X-Men ’97, the successor and follow-up to the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series from the 90s and while we still don’t have an official trailer running around, there are already a ton of goods and merch available for the show. And in case you’re wondering why Magneto is here and why Professor Charles Xavier is absent, it’s because the dear professor went off to space at the end of the last season of X-Men: The Animated Series to be together with his wife (or how they mention her in the comics, his “consort”) Lilandra Neramani. So in his place, Magneto does a face-turn and becomes the new headmaster of the Xavier school while Xavier is away.
