Warner Bros Japan has released the first Suicide Squad ISEKAI teaser trailer which introduces us to the team that will be transported to another world as well as their mission.

So it’s everything we want from an Isekai anime only with DC Comics characters, particularly the really popular members of the Suicide Squad including Harley Quinn and company.

The anime is produced by Warner Bros Japan together with WIT Studio and is scheduled for release 2024. And it’s got an interesting list of characters from our favorite member Harley Quinn who is seen both with her time with The Joker…

And in her prison uniform, where she battles all sorts of monsters including Pig Men…

And with Harley around, you can be sure we’ll also have King Shar here just like in the Harley Quinn animated series…

There’s also Deadshot here but I wonder why they decide to ditch the helmet for this adventure…

We will also be getting appearances from the likes of Amanda Waller

And her best boi, Peacemaker…

Lastly we have Clayface here who is animated as a “pretty boy” type

Suicide Squad Isekai Synopsis:

In the crime-ridden city of Gotham, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that’s connected to this world through a gate. It’s a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an “ISEKAI”!

With lethal explosives planted in their necks, there’s no running or hiding, and failing the mission means a one-way ticket to the afterlife!
