Marvel teases the final story for the Krakoan Age – Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X
Marvel has dropped new teasers for the supposedly final story for the Krakoan Age of mutants titled Fall of the House of X and Rise of the Powers of X which could be the next story arc that pops up after the current events of Fall of X.
The way it was laid out it looks like this will be two book transformed from X-Men and Immortal X-Men with the X-Men writing team of Gerry Duggan and Lucas Werneck doing Fall of the House of X while the Immortal X-Men creative team of Kieron Gillen and R.B. Silva will be doing Rise of the Powers of X. Obviously this would also be a play on Jonathan Hickman’s seminal House of X and Powers of X
We don’t have anything yet but we now know that this will be released January 2024.
Marvel also revealed that they will be dropping more details at the Next Big Thing panel of Marvel happening 14th October during New York Comic Con or NYCC 2023.
This really piqued my interest as we could really see the mutants returning to their former status quo with the X-Men returning to their school (which I really find weak compared to what they have established already starting with Hickman’s run).
