Genshin Impact Theory – The Tsaritsa is no longer in power after Fatui took over
Here’s an interesting Genshin Impact theory which reads that the Tsaritsa aka the Ice Archon is no longer in power after she was taken down and kept hidden by the Fatui; this also reads that the Fatui are truly in control.
This theory was posted (and reposted) on various Genshin Impact meme pages and I just took notice because it’s a wonderful theory. Here’s how it goes:
What if the Fatui have already overthrown their own Archon, and Tsaritsa is just a puppet figurehead without any power, the truth known only to one or two of the Harbingers. All the other Harbingers only think they are following Tsaritsa’s orders to obtain every Gnosis, but in reality it’s the sole plan of one of the Harbingers who is secretly a member of the Abyss Order.
And just to add more context, that comment popped out repeatedly in this specific post:
And you know what, it kind of makes sense for now at least. Plus if you can imagine it, this could be one of the top 10 best moments from Genshin Impact since it was first released. Imagine the Traveler using the different elements she/he got throughout their travels through the world.
If there’s any of the Fatui that would know (if this theory is true) it would probably Dottore and Pierro aka The Jester also. Those guys looks and feels like their schemes have their own schemes.
As the story progresses and we continue to get more characters and more places to visit in Teyvat, you can really see how deep the Fatui are in to make sure their goals are met. Plus they also started the war when they began stealing the gnosis of the existing gods or archon.
Venti lost his gnosis by force due to La Signora…
Morax/ Zhongli lost his gnosis when he entered a contract with the Fatui/ Childe / Tartaglia…
And Raiden Shogun’s / Ei/ Baal’s is still missing in action…
We can also hypothesize that the Fatui have struck a deal with the mysterious goddess who may or may not be Paimon to keep the Traveler aka Lumine or Aether here in Teyvat.
