Dark Crisis # 1 Spoilers – Classic Teen Titans member killed by Deathstroke
As they say in comics, its not a Crisis book if no Titan dies and in the case of Dark Crisis # 1, a long time member of the Teen Titans falls at the hands of Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke the Terminator. Here’s one of the many Dark Crisis # 1 spoilers coming this week!
So before we proceed, SPOILER ALERT for Dark Crisis # 1 by Joshua Williamson and Daniel Sampere.
And here are a few things you need to know also about Dark Crisis:
- Pariah is back and he wants to harness this “Great Darkness” to get the dead Earths from the past Crisis events in order to get back to his life.
To do this he has enslaved a lot of powerful beings to do his bidding like Darkseid, Doomsday and more…
… and even a powerful entity like The Spectre…
2. Pariah has killed the Justice League and the Justice League Incarnate as seen in Justice League # 75
3. Black Adam and Black Canary are the only two members that survived. We don’t know what happened to Canary yet but Adam has been transported back to the JLA headquarters and that’s where we find him at the start of the story.
4. Jon Kent aka Superboy has created his own Justice League because he thinks that the world needs the League now more than ever which was one of the big moments for Dark Crisis # 1.
4. Deathstroke was dead but has been revived using the Lazarus Pit and now wants to kill everybody; a probable effect of the Pit as seen in Shadow War Omega.
In the epilogue pages, the Secret Society stole Deathstroke’s body while the battle between Batman and Geo Force was happening and they dumped his body in another Lazarus Pit.
The thing is when he emerged from the Pit, the Lazarus Pit has turned black and failed to heal Wilson’s missing eye.
Now that we’re all caught up, let’s dive right in to the Dark Crisis # 1 spoilers.
In this issue, we see Jonathan Kent aka Superboy being targeted and monitored by an unseen assailant as he travels around the world looking for members to fill his Justice League.
While there’s drama happening in the JL HQ, Dick Grayson aka Nightwing is seen training the new students of Titans Academy when they get bombed and attacked by the Secret Society led by Deathstroke one more…
Definitely took a swipe from Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke look from Zack Snyder’s Justice League…
After issuing his orders, members of the Secret Society managed to get Beast Boy who puts on a brave face…
I’m thinking that they would do something gruesome to Gar’s body in the next issue and will probably something of a talk point in the Dark Crisis # 2.
