HBO Max gives us our first look at Vigilante as well as new Peacemaker poster
HBO Max and DC Comics continues to hype up the upcoming Peacemaker series starring John Cena that spins off from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad film which was released earlier this year. We even get a first look at Vigilante, a new character that will be teaming up with Cena’s Peacemaker.

So who is Vigilante?
The character Vigilante has various people who held the mantle since he first debuted in DC Comics. The version that will be appearing in the James Gunn-produced Peacemaker is Adrian Chase. Adrian Chase was a New York City district attorney unlike his father Charles Chase. He sought justice his own way as the anti-hero Vigilante after his wife Doris Chase and their children were killed by mobsters. Adrian was initially shown taking pains to make sure he did not kill his enemies (unlike the Punisher from Marvel Comics) and would regularly use non-lethal weaponry to disable his opponents.
Vigilante will be played by Freddie Stroma and if you check out the photos that have been shared online, we get to see that the character is definitely vibing with John Cena’s Peacemaker. They even have the time do a high five while in the field.
