Mihoyo reacts to Genshin Impact 1.5 leaks via Twitter
Mihoyo wasn’t too keen with the recent Genshin Impact 1.5 leaks that went online hours before the new update on the game rolled out which included the reveal of new characters Eula and Feiyan.
There were tons of new images for both characters and additional details that they probably planned on putting in the game’s announcements when the update was done.
Here’s what they wrote on their Twitter account regarding the recent Genshin Impact 1.5 leak
Recently, we discovered the dissemination of leaked version 1.5. content. Such behavior not only disrupts our plans to develop and promote the new version, but also causes some Travelers to have misconceptions about the content of the new version.

They chalk it up as spreading “misinformation” about the updates and then released another tweet asking players to resist spreading the leaked information to “maintain a fair gaming environment”. They also promised to deal illegal disclosures moving forward. Check out that tweet statement below.
Here, we kindly ask for the support and help of all Travelers to resist leaks, and maintain a fair gaming environment. We will also increase our efforts to deal with such illegal disclosures.
