The First Appearance of The Ghost Maker

Batman # 100 had two epilogues that tease the future of the Batman book under the guidance of James Tynion IV and one of those epilogues introduces a new villain called The Ghost-Maker.

The mysterious Ghost-Maker makes a one-page appearance in Batman # 100 where he comments about Batman aka Bruce Wayne making a mess of Gotham City. He also comments that “their” teachers would be ashamed on this happening.

And it looks like he plans on making a move to become Gotham City’s newest protector, kicking Batman out of the picture.

Whoever this guy is, it looks like he wants to become one of the icons in the rogues gallery. Like serious threats to Batman in the past, this guy also knows a thing or two about Batman and his secret identity. And when he refers to teachers, it narrows the list but there’s still a lot of disciplines where Bruce Wayne shared a master with.

This is something to look forward to aside from Batman # 101 bringing back Grifter.
