The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will soon become Power Rangers

Here’s that one major spoiler for IDW Publishing‘s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles # 3 which came out this week. And it’s teasing something big for the next issue.

So in this issue, we find that Rita Repulsa and Shredder have created an unholy alliance after they fight to a standstill. They decide that they would do the MMPR and TMNT first before they got back to their fight.

And we also get a bit of Tommy Oliver’s past and why he was so dead set in rescuing his friend from The Foot Clan, which was also why he “betrayed” the Power Rangers. Thanks to the Alpha 5 and Zordon, the Rangers follow Tommy and the Power Rangers decide to track their friend.

The five then went up against the Green Ranger Shredder, gets beaten up and then gets saved by Casey Jones. The six of them escapes the battlefield and teleport back to the Power Rangers’ headquarters. Rita and Shredder then summons a new monster which demands time to be dealt with while Tommy inches closer and closer to being executed by the Foot.

Zordon decides that he has to call in the help of the Ninja Turtles to get things done.

Let’s wait for issue 4 comes out or expect some form of spoilers for the looks for the TMNT as Power Rangers in the next few days!
