Babs Tarr Joins Boom Studios with First Project Being Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink # 1

Batgirl artist Babs Tarr moves to Boom Studios and gets a pretty interesting project in the form of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink. Her work will be seen in the book which tells the story of the original Pink Ranger, Kimberly and is set after she retires from being a Power Ranger.

Thanks to the strong support for the main Power Rangers book from Boom! Studios, the company is making sure that its not a fluke and that there really is a huge demand for MMPR related comics. So to get that point across, the publisher is currently giving retailers and owners 3 new variant covers including one done by rising star Tarr.

Check out Babs Tarr’s variant cover below…

Aside from the Tarr variant, we also have the “Sketch” variant cover which has been changed by the pink-friendly “Coloring” variant still featuring Kimberly…

Personally speaking, I would definitely get the coloring variant cover first before picking out the other two covers, yes, even the Tarr cover.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink # 1 features a script co-written by A-Force’s Kelly Thompson and Gotham Academy’s Brenden Fletcher. Daniele di Nicuolo will be doing the art fresh from her Mirror’r Edge: Exordium gig.
