A Beginners Guide to WWE Live!
MANILA, Philippines – WWE Universe in the Philippines, we are just days away from the biggest sports-entertainment spectacular this year as the Superstars of WWE SmackDown! invade the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday, September 20th, 2019!
For many, this will be their first time attending a WWE event in person. And while it can be overwhelming, each show promises an evening of fun and excitement for fans of all ages. So, here’s a quick guide for fans watching their first WWE Live show!
1. Find the Right Seat for Your Budget
Finding the right seat is a matter of balancing your budget and knowing how close you want to be to the action. The Smart Araneta Coliseum is a very intimate venue, so you can expect a good seat no matter how close or how far you are from the ring. Sitting ringside ensures you’re close enough to all your favorite Superstars, while a farther seat leaves you with an amazing view of all the action. It’s all about the experience you want the most. Luckily, Ticketnet gives you a good idea of the view you’ll be paying for when you buy your tickets!
2. What’s Allowed at a WWE Live Event?
Each arena has its own policies that the WWE Universe has to adhere to. The Smart Araneta Coliseum prohibits professional and video cameras, along with laser pens, sharp objects, umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks. So make sure to pack only the bare essentials in a tote bag when watching WWE Live!
3. Can I Bring Signs?
Signs are a staple of WWE Live events around the world! And thankfully, signs are allowed at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, at the discretion of the personnel at the front. So before grabbing a marker, remember:
· Don’t make it too large that it obstructs the view of the person behind you.
· Make sure your sign represents a Superstar scheduled on the card. There’s no sense in making a sign for someone you won’t see in the ring that night!
· Keep it respectful. Sure, you want to show the world how much you hate a certain WWE Superstar. But you’ll be around kids and their families. Do you really want to be “that guy” at a WWE Live show? Didn’t think so!
4. Save! Save! Save!
There’s nothing worse than going to a WWE event without any money in your pocket. No WWE Live experience wouldn’t be the same without the latest merch from the WWE Shop. And because you’re getting your merchandise straight from the source, you know that what you’re paying for is 100% authentic and at a fair price that beats most second-hand sellers out of the water. PHP3,500 is a safe amount to save. Aside from covering transportation and food expenses, you’re still left with enough to splurge on Superstar merch!
5. Have Fun!
Now that you’re inside the Smart Araneta Coliseum, it is time to put on the t-shirt of your favorite WWE Superstar and get ready for an action-packed night of sports entertainment.
WWE Live events are lively affairs that command the hearts of the thousands in attendance.
A WWE Live event differs significantly from what you normally see on TV. So elaborate sets and commentary are set aside for an experience that gives the WWE Universe exactly what they want. Examples can be found in the WWE Network such as WWE Live From Madison Square Garden, The Beast in The East, and Starrcade.
But just because you’re getting a stripped-down event, doesn’t mean surprises won’t occur. WWE Live Events are incredibly unpredictable: titles changes and other big surprises can happen. For instance: the last time WWE was in Manila, the second rope snapped during John Cena’s now-infamous battle against the Big Show.
So remember, anything can happen in the WWE!
