Immortal Hulk vs The Avengers (Immortal Hulk # 7)
Bruce Banner and the Hulk square off against the newly established Avengers and the ending was sick. Here’s the Immortal Hulk vs The Avengers from Immortal Hulk # 7.
The new Hulk finally goes one on one with the Avengers after sometime since the return of Banner and the formation of the new Avengers led by chairman Black Panther.
Carol Danvers started the conversation but that did not end up nicely, with the issue opening with Thor getting punched very, very hard by the “Devil Hulk”.
Captain America calls this new incarnation as the Devil Hulk and he’s not wrong. After all, this Banner also had Bruce Banner’s dad in the same body.
Ghost Rider is also taken out of the fight early on, when Hulk throws him and the Hell Charger miles away.
Iron Man joins the fight with a new Hulkbuster armor that looks exactly like the one we saw in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
And Hulk makes quick work of it too.
Also, Hulk uses the ripped off arm of the Hulkbuster on Black Panther.
Hulk’s smash was so strong that he overloads Black Panther vibranium costume and takes him out of the fight.
Tony Stark evacuates the Hulkbuster armor and goes for his next move, the use of the Avengers’ weapon, Project: Helios.
She-Hulk is up next, and the cousins have a nice talk and Hulk throws Jennifer off her game…
He throws her off her game so much that hit her and she flies off miles away.
Still in this Immortal Hulk vs The Avengers, we find Tony Stark prepping his new weapon to use against the Hulk.
They use the weapon on Hulk after Captain Marvel OKs the evacuation of the town. Stark shoots the weapon and moments later, we see the output…
Captain America and Black Panther have a discussion on the ethics of using their weapon on the Hulk.
The ending for this fight was not only controversial, the actual ending of the issue was even more disturbing.
