Steve Rogers Acknowledges Hydra Cap in Avengers # 1 Preview

Steve Rogers definitely has not forgotten about Hydra Cap nor has Thor forgotten that he is currently Unworthy Thor in these pages from the Avengers # 1 Preview.

The new volume of Avengers which coincidentally gets released after Infinity War features a return to basic for the team which consists of the “Big Three” namely Captain America, Thor and Iron Man. They are joined by other MCU big names like Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, She-Hulk and the new Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes.

It has actually been awhile since these three have been working as teammates together. Iirc they were “Avengers” during Jonathan Hickman’s run on the book and it did not end well for Cap and Iron Man who had a bloody fight before the Marvel Universe “died” at the start of Secret Wars.

And all three of them have gone through so much. Captain America became Hydra Cap leading to the Secret Empire. Tony Stark was comatose after the events of Civil War 2 and Thor Odinson was doing his own thing and leaving the superheroics to ex-girlfriend Jane Foster.
