Spider-Man Unmasks in front of [SPOILER] – Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man # 6
This week’s issue of Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man issue # 6 may prove to be a turning point for the life of Peter Parker and also for a long time “nemesis” of his.
In this issue, written by Chip Zdarsky with art by Michael Walsh, Spidey does a one on one interview with J. Jonah Jameson with a surprising twist.
Context: Spider-Man goes to Jameson for information regarding his “sister”. Jameson agrees in exchange for a one hour tell all interview. Everything goes sideways the moment they lay their issues on the table. Jonah thinks Spider-Man is a coward because he wears the mask and doesn’t live with consequence.
Spidey retaliates by reminding Jonah that he was responsible for some of the people in his rogues gallery including Alyster Smythe who eventually killed his wife Marla Jameson.
Then there’s also Marla’s second death during the events of Clone Conspiracy.
Jameson also talks about being alone with nobody to trust in Peter Parker Spider-Man # 6 because they he’s caught a really bad break.
In a moment that would either make or break him, Parker decides to unmask in front of Jameson…
Before they can talk about this though, Spider-Man has to flee because the FBI are onto them, no thanks to Jameson who announced via his blog that he would be doing an interview with Spider-Man.
There’s a lot more going on in the pages of Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man # 6 from Marvel. It’s out now in your LCS and on digital.
