Its Curtain Call for Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi
Peter Capaldi has officially announced that the current season of Doctor Who will be his last.
The 10th season of Doctor Who will be the last Doctor Who where we’ll be seeing Peter Capaldi. According to the official Doctor Who twitter account, Capaldi states:
It (the new series of Doctor Who) will be my last… I feel it’s time to move on.” He’ll be stepping down in Christmas 2017, telling folks: “I’m still #DoctorWho! We’re doing epic stuff! I’m not done yet!”
Capaldi’s comments were made during an interview with Jo Whiley on BBC2.

Also bolting the door after Doctor Who season 10 is the legendary showrunner Steven Moffat. But worry not Whovians as “Broadchurch” showrunner Chris Chibnall will be picking up the slack.
