Its Official! Donald Glover as Young Lando Calrissian
Donald Glover as Spiser-Man? Thing of the past now. Donald Glover as young Lando Calrissian, now that’s new.
The Verge reports that the former Community star has been officially added to the growing cast of the Solo Han Solo movie.
The actor who will also appear in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming (not as Miles Morales though) has joined the movie project after months of rumors and speculations.
Glover will be joining previously announced Alden Ehrenreich who will be playing the young Han Solo. Years before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope.
Hopefully this movie will finally give hardcore Star Wars fans a look at the important Kessel Run where Solo apparently made it in under 12 parasecs.
The film’s directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have apologized in advance for ruining Comic Con for Glover, a known frequent attendee.
“We’re so lucky to have an artist as talented as Donald join us,” said Lord and Miller in an official statement. “These are big shoes to fill, and an even bigger cape, and this one fits him perfectly, which will save us money on alterations. Also, we’d like to publicly apologize to Donald for ruining Comic-Con for him forever.”
