REV Major 2018 brings World Class Fighting Game action to the Philippines

All roads lead to Makati this September as PlayBook once again hosts the country’s premiere Fighting
Game event, the REV Major.

September 10, 2018, Manila, Philippines – September is fighting game season as PlayBook Video Game
Lounge and Bookshop heralds the return of the REV Major. First hosted back in 2017, the REV Major easily became one of the, if not, the biggest and most sought out Fighting Game event here in the country, pitting local stars with international pros in 2 days of fighting game action.

Packed to the brim with world class talent, the REV Major brings 2-time EVO champion Bae “Knee” Jae Min, as well as other Fighting Game stars, Byeong Mun “Qudans” Son, Sang-hyun “Jeondding” Jeon and femme fatales YuYu and Tanukana whose newfound rivalry sparked after facing each other in the
Kemonomichi series hosted by the beast himself Daigo Umehara.

But it’s not just Tekken 7 that’s going to be in the spotlight at the REV Major. The premiere Fighting
Game event will also include other Fighting Game titles such as Super Smash Bros. Melee, Street Fighter
V Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle and Dragon Ball Fighter Z.

The appearance of many big stars and with many big titles mean that the REV Major is not just any
fighting game tournament for the event will also be included as a Challenger Event for the prestigious
Tekken World Tour and as well as an official part of the Smash Masters League.

Together with international stars, the REV Major will also invite local hopefuls who will aim to topple the
titans and represent not just the Philippines but also possibly the South East Asian region in the global
Fighting Game stage.

The REV Major will be held this coming September 15-16, 2018 at the PowerMac Center, Makati City,
