Marvel’s Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey is just around the corner and it was only a matter of time before we saw interior pages from the series; enter the Phoenix Resurrection teaser, as released by Marvel themselves.

The Phoenix Resurrection teaser video not only reenforces the idea that Jean Grey is back we also get a bit of commentary on what’s going to happen in the book from the associate editors working on Marvel’s X-books.

The biggest kicker for this though are the few unlettered pages done by artist Leinil Francis Yu featuring the various X-Men teams as they appear in the book.

So as you can see, both the X-Men Gold team led by Kitty Pryde and the X-Men Blue team led by O5 Jean Grey will be sucked into the story whether they like it or not.

What’s interesting here though is how Jean actually returns to the Marvel Universe. A big question too is how much of issue # 1 will be set in the Psychic plane, which was also depicted in some of the images from the Phoenix Resurrection teaser.

I guess we don’t have to wait for so much as the book will be out on a monthly basis starting December. I sure am excited for X-Men Red, the team Jean Grey will be leading, and the J. Scott Campbell Phoenix Resurrection covers which are still available for pre-order.
