Riot Games has announced some new VALORANT Dev updates coming along with the 13.06 patch including a brand-new experimental game mode called Gauntlet: Glitched!

Along with the new game mode, agents can also expect a new automatic rifle, a new Agent Mastery system, updates on competitive progression and more!
This new game mode allows players to create their own hybrid Robo-Agent from a randomized pool of abilities. Eight teams of two will compete in a tournament-style round robin until only one team is crowned the winner. During the match, players can upgrade their abilities to match their style, creating unique and interesting builds each match. The game is also called “Glitch” because glitches will happen, changing the player’s abilities, which encourages experimentation. Gauntlet: Glitch launches in Patch 13.06, just ahead of VALORANT Champions.
Introducing the Warden

This new automatic rifle will officially be added to Vandal and Phantom. It was designd with a stronger ADS (Aim Down Sights) option which also offers more flexibility on buying rounds. The goal is to expand player choice by offering another viable primary weapon for different playstyles.
