If you’re looking for a decently-priced smartphone that has a long battery life, good display and decent camera then the realme C100 is the perfect phone for you to get.

realme C100 Design
If you’re looking a phone that’s slim and light, then this might be hit-or-miss for you. For me, this felt OK. It wasn’t that heavy (along with the protective jelly case), but it wasn’t light either. It just had a good balance to it with a Weight of about 224g. The smartphone’s height is also pretty standard for the phone on this price range. Not only that, but it also follows the past realme C-series phones that came out; so consistency really is the key. The review unit I got was the “Blooming Purple” variant, although they also have another color available, “Sprouting Green”. For me though, go for the purple design. It looks more stylish and sophisticated.
Just like most smartphones that came out this year, the realme C100 also has durability in mind as it offers IP69 water resistance and dust resistance. This goes perfectly well for consumers who really don’t buy phones that much and would want to have something that can withstand all sorts of damages on a daily use.
realme C100 Display
The realme C100 Display comes with a 6.8-inch 120Hz LCD screen that’s good enough for daily use such as some light gaming and casual social media scrolling and a lot of video streaming. But it can’t go beyond super quality displays thanks to its HD+ resolution (which is 1570 × 720 Pixels).
You also get a smooth display thanks to the smartphone’s maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, but it lacks the sharpness of Full HD images. Brightness is also one factor that I considered for this review, and the realme C100 was OK with the normal brightness hitting 700nits and the brightest it can do is 900nits. Pretty solid indoors and in darker conditions but not so much outdoors and beneath direct sunlight.
In terms of glass and screen protection, the main panel comes with the standard Corning+ LCD while the cover glasses are Panda-MN228!
realme C100 Camera
The realme C100 comes with a 50MP main camera that quite frankly gets the job done. I didn’t expect the whole bells and whistles for this smartphone but I was impressed with the photo quality. The 50MP main camera performs reasonably well in daylight, producing decent photos for social media. Low-light performance is average, and the front camera is adequate for video calls and selfies.

realme C100 Battery
realme took the next step with the battery they slapped into this bad boy. The realme C100 has an 8000mAh Titan Battery that works with 45W SUPERVOOC Charge. That means you can do fast charging but at only 45W at any given time.You can also use the smartphone as a powerbank of sorts with a 10W reverse charging capacity. Might not be much but it can definitely come in handy in situations where you need to charge stuff on the fly.
Overall, the realme C100 is a powerhouse when it comes to basic functions from social media to some light gaming but it really does well when it comes to it’s battery; fast charing, reverse charging all come in handy especially for people who live an active lifestyle or always on the go. Plus the price is just phonemonal if you ask me. At P16,999, there’s definitely worth every penny you spend.
