The Absolute Universe has been around for quite a while now but we’ve not yet seen the formation of the Absolute Justice League but according to DC Comics, the first step into building a Justice League in the Absolute Universe will happen some time later and it starts with the limited series Absolute Justice!

Absolute Justice will be written by Jason Aaron (Absolute Superman, Avengers) with art by Juan Ferreyra and is set for release April 2027.
The book will largely feature the reimagined versions of the League led by Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. DC Comics also shared official preview pages for the book which you can check out below.

While its sad to see Absolute Martian Manhunter wrapping up in print, his story isn’t done yet as he will also play an important role in the formation of the Justice League in a universe severely influenced by Darkseid.
For me though, it feels like the book won’t end with the actual league forming and instead just giving their collaboration a trial run.
Aaron is pretty good as a solo character writer but he also shines when it comes to team books, as we’ve seen in his run in Avengers and X-Men so let’s see how he’ll steer the stories featuring the DC Universe’s biggest characters.
