Resident Evil Veronica Announcement Trailer
Here’s what Capcom wrote along with the release of the Veronica trailer:
Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of the beloved classic Resident Evil Code: Veronica, was announced for release in 2027 at Summer Game Fest! The next chapter in the iconic Resident Evil survival horror series features the return of fan-favorite heroine Claire Redfield and will release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
Resident Evil Veronica will draw players into a desperate escape filled with horror and madness through the isolated, zombie-filled Rockfort Island. Developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, the game will introduce modernized gameplay with a chilling level of realism designed to push survival horror to new heights.

This is definitely worth getting, especially since they didn;t release Code Veronica on the Playstation and instead opted to choose the SEGA Dreamcast IIRL.
It’s also nice that Capcom decided to strike while the iron is hot in terms of RE stuff considering they also came out with the Resident Evil Requiem this year AND then Resident Evil Veronica next year?!
Anyway, according to sources, Resident Evil Veronica will be available for the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam.
