Miracleman aka Marvel Man official enters the Marvel Universe at the end of the ongoing Avengers Armageddon storyline by Chip Zdarsky
SPOILER ALERT
So in this issue, the combined forces of the Marvel Universe namely Fantastic Four, Avengers and X-Men scramble to stop nukes from dropping all across the world. The nukes were launched by the Russian forces and is also one of the things that Iron Man saw during issue 1 when he also checked out the tech that Red Hulk had left behind. And now that has been realized plus the return of the Red Hulk, things have gone awry with some members of the Avengers and New Avengers seemingly dying due to the explosion caused by the Red Hulk.
In the aftermath of the explosion in Avengers Armageddon # 4, a badly burned David Colton has a vision of his mother and he spots the word “Atomik” stuck on the window outside which reads “Kimota” from his perspective. Those words transforms him into the powerful Miracleman.
David ditches the old green “Captain America” gear and puts on the classic blue, red, and yellow costume worn by the original Miracleman, Mikey Moran. After this reveal, Marvel also revealed that MiracleMan will be part of the new Avengers team coming in November!
