Marvel has released the first preview pages of Avengers #1 from the upcoming run by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto, featuring an assortment of Marvel’s most popular heroes and characters, including Spider-Man and Wolverine.

And now for the actual pages from issue 1 by Zdarsky and Checchetto…
No doubt this book’s first issue looks really good and that’s thanks to Chechetto’s art style. I’m happy that they pushed the spotlight on him and gave him a really good project. Meanwhile, Zdarsky’s style is also growing on me. We still have to see what the hell happened by the end of Avengers Armageddon but it’s pretty obvious that the 911-era Captain America, David Colton has played some big part on this. In Armageddon issue 2, we already found out that Red Hulk has clear information that nukes would go off and that;s thanks to Doctor Doom’s machine that helped the former good guy take over a country and later tried to conquer Smykaria.
