The Boys Showrunner Eric Kripke confirms The Boys Season 5 is the final season
It looks like Billy Butcher and the rest of The Boys are not long for this world as series’ showrunner Eric Kripke has officially stated that the series is ending by The Boys Season 5.
Here’s what he posted on X formerly Twitter
#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season! Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS, cause the end has begun! pic.twitter.com/3p7Wt4jGA6

And believe it, it’s definitely looking that way with a lot of things they were building on from the past season coming to a head this season. Also we could be seeing Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher going the route that he’s done in the comics written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Darrick Robertson.
There are still a lot of stuff that they can do here even if the main “The Boys” story ends. We already did get Gen V which wasn’t really in the source material.
The Boys is now streaming on Prime Video PH and stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Elisabeth Shue, Colby Minifie, Aya Cash, Claudia Doumit and Jensen Ackles
