TEKKEN 8 REVEALS ROADMAP AT EVO JAPAN, UNVEILING LIDIA SOBIESKA AS NEXT DLC AND AN UPCOMING NEW STORY
Bandai Namco has dropped a brand new Tekken 8 Season 1 trailer which also announces the return of Lidia Sobieska as the next DLC character as well as a new story for the game!
TEKKEN™ 8 revealed its upcoming roadmap at EVO Japan, announcing an all-new story to the game’s Story Mode is in the works for future release, and the second DLC character, Lidia Sobieska, will be joining the roster this summer.
Additional details for the game’s roadmap have also been revealed. Starting this spring, adjustments to the battle system will be made as the development team continues to work on improving balance and player experience. Players will receive a big free update this summer, including the “Seaside Resort” summer-themed stage as well as Photo Mode. In autumn, as part of another free update, a brand-new story will be added, with Eddy Gordo making an appearance. Also, modes such as Ghost vs. Ghost and Online Practice were announced, and these will be added at a later date.
