First Official Look at Shimo from Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

With only a few months before the release, we finally get a good look at the secondary antagonist titan in Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire named Shimo.

For fans who keep close to GxK news we already know of this titan and we kinda saw it already via leaked images for the toys that will be coming out shortly. But this is the very first instance of seeing the titan from a movie still image. Anyway, Shimo is a bipedal titan that will team up with Skar King to take down Godzilla and Kong. According to leaks the creature’s ice powers are what caused the ice age and was also responsible for the freezing of King Ghidorah.

There were also rumors that the reason we see Godzilla encased in ice in the official trailer for GxK is because he was defeated by Shimo although we can’t confirm that right now. It does make sense however and kinda lines up with why Godzilla had to go through another evolution and receive those pink dorsal fins.
