Blue Beetle’s Inka Magnaye Talks about her heroes and their impact in her life

Voice actress and Internet personality Inka Magnaye is officially the voice for the Philippine release of Warner Bros Pictures and DC ComicsBlue Beetle movie which stars Xolo Mariduena (Cobra Kai) and she recently made an appearance in a special media day celebrating her role.

And because this was such a big deal especially for Pinoy DC Comics fans, we just had to ask her:

Growing up who were your superheroes or heroes in general and what did they instilled in you?

My superheroes? obviously we got wonder woman she is an amazing example of strength and heart. Because one of her weapons is the Lasso of Truth. So it’s truth. You know, one of the most powerful things in the world; so it moves me that there are so many powerful female superheroes to look up to in the DC Universe, like Hawkgirl for example she’s so cool.

And I’m really excited to bring the power of my own voice to Khaji-da in this movie. So maybe there are other little girls there in the future who would listen to the scarab and be like “I wanna be like that. I wanna do that voiceover because that’s what I did before.
