Trending story today was Philippine senator Robin Padilla as a bigotilyo Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba is something you need to see.

According to various sources, the actor and senator dressed up as the protagonist from Demon Slayer to support his kids who are currently into the anime series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge.

You can clearly see that he’s also doing a completely different stance applying his knife training which was heavily meme’d and poked fun at at several different times including during the elections.

His daughter on the other hand dressed up as the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji.

Mitsuri teams up with the Kamado siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado to protect the Swordsmith Village in the last season of Demon Slayer as two of the strongest demons attacked the secret village with the goal of killing the swordmakers and thereby stopping the Demon Slayer Corps from getting weapons that they can use to kill demons.

Fortunately for them two Hashiras and another powerful corps member Genya Shinazugawa were present to stop the slaughter and at the same time kill the two upper moon demons.

Going back to Robin, who also refers to himself now as Robinhood Padilla, it looks fine with the exception of the moustache or bigote and the wrong stance. As a dad, I can relate to him doing what he can to make his kid happy and I am all for that.
