In this story that was not yet published and instead released by Marvel.com, we see Cyclops popping up in the place where they were doing the funeral for Kamala Khan. Of course his former teammates in the superteam Champions namely Spider-Man Miles Morales, Sam Alexander aka Nova and Amadeus Cho, confront him about his visible absence.
The trio chide Cyclops for not being there even when in life Kamala Khan adored Cyclops. The page ends with Cyclops giving a promise to his former teammates. That he will be there for Kamala not at the moment but soon.
This coincides with the recently announced return of Ms Marvel in a limited series titled Ms Marvel: The New Mutant
And even before that we will be seeing bits of her return in the pages of X-Men: Hellfire Gala # 1 2023 where we will also see the wedding of Emma Frost and Tony Stark.
