First Look at the Fontaine region in Genshin Impact

Several screenshots have been shared online featuring the first area for the upcoming Fontaine region for Hoyoverse’s Genshin Impact.

According to various reports, Fontaine will be making its debut around Genshin Impact version 4.0.

According to other Genshin Impact leakers, there will be areas where players can swim around or areas that will be submerged underwater and there will be something within the game’s narrative that will enable the players to roam around normally.

There have been a bunch of past leaks including names for character and even a character model who many believe is the Hydro archon that protects the land of Fontaine similar like Venti calling Mondstadt his home or Zhongli and Liyue.

So far we still don’t have any full details about when Fontaine will be released but it’s definitely closer than we expect. We already get a tease of what Fontaine would be like via the new non-playable (for now) character – Charlotte.
