Henry Cavill no longer Superman in Gunn’s new DC Movie Universe

Devastating news for fans of Henry Cavill and Superman as the actor has posted on his Instagram account that he is officially no longer Superman.

Here’s what he wrote:

What sucks about this is that Warner had previously asked him to announce his return following his cameo in the Black Adam post-credit scene where he meets Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

Twice as sucky is the fact that he resigned from his role as Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix series The Witcher and even announced his replacement in the form of Liam Hemsworth.

Being a proper gent though, he wished James Gunn and Peter Safran luck on their endeavor of building the new DCEU.
