Secret Invasion Trailer drops at D23 Expo 2022

Marvel Studios has dropped the first Secret Invasion trailer at D23 Expo 2022 and it looks exciting as hell and has this “Winter Soldier” vibe to it!

The Disney+ series is based on the Marvel Comics event of the same title written by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu and has the taglinrle “Who Do You Trust”. In it the Skrulls launch an all out attack on two Avengers teams while playing on their paranoia.

I swear there’s a lot of things going on in this trailer from the reveal of Emilia Clarke formerly the first of her name Daenerys Targaryen…

to Olivia Colman…

to War Machine himself Don Cheadle.

But the main pull here would have to be Samuel L. Jackson returning as Nick Fury years after he ditched the eye patch in Captain America: The Winter Soldier where he “retired” and made sporadic appearances in the MCU.

But now he’s back and it might also give us an answer on what he’s up to and why he’s in space working with the Skrulls.

We also got to see Fury’s frequent collaborator and Skrull ally Talos played by Ben Mendelsohn who we’ve already seen impersonating Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
