Jo Koy’s Easter Sunday is first Hollywood-produced Pinoy film highlighting culture and actors (Opens August 31)

Stand-up comedy sensation Jo Koy (Jo Koy: In His Elements, Jo Koy: Comin’ in Hot) stars as a man returning home for an Easter celebration with his riotous, bickering, eating, drinking, laughing, loving family, in this love letter to his Filipino-American community.

Easter Sunday features an all-star Fil-Am comedic cast who have made a name for themselves globally including Lou Diamond Phillips (Courage Under Fire), Tony nominee Eva Noblezada (Broadway’s Hadestown and starred with Lea Salong in Yellow Rose), Tia Carrere (True Lies, Wayne’s World films), Lydia Gaston (Broadway’s The King and I), Eugene Cordero (The Good Place series), Rodney To (Parks and Recreation series),Brandon Wardell (Curb Your Enthusiasm series) and stand-up comedian Joey Guila.

World boxing icon and Philippines’ pride, Manny Pacquiao for his part has shown support for the film and uploaded a photo of the movie’s poster in his Instagram page, to quote, “Support tayo mgakababayan” using the hashtag #PinoyPride.
