UNIQLO to Release Paul & Joe Spring/Summer 2022 Collection in Response to Popularity of Last Year’s Debut Collaboration

March 28, 2022, Manila, Philippines – UNIQLO announces that it will release the Spring/Summer 2022 Paul & Joe range as part of the UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) lineup on Friday, April 8. The new offering follows up on the first collaboration collection with the French brand in 2021. Designer Sophie Mechaly founded Paul & Joe, which has become beloved worldwide for its playful prints and hues. The new collection now incorporates innerwear. It exuberates in spring, adding a splash of color to wardrobes when out and about or at home.

Commenting on the collection, Ms. Mechaly said that “I am happy to be collaborating with UNIQLO again. For this collection, I used my two beloved cats as motifs, and the production process was a lot of fun. In line with UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy, I hope to make everyone happy through my clothes. I hope this collection will give people around the world the pleasure of enjoying fashion.”

The collection features numerous new patterns, including adorable cats and swallows, which signify good fortune. The innerwear delivers attention to detail. Excellent examples are shorts with signature chrysanthemum lace decorations and camisoles with fine spaghetti straps that can serve as visible innerwear. The diverse lineup ranges from T-shirts and dresses to scarves, bags, and other accessories. Baby bodysuits appear for the first time in this collection, which offers fun for infants, girls, and mothers alike.
