In this issue, we get a flashback of Hope Summers bringing back the Scarlet Witch although her memory backups were super outdated, which was also the reason why she didn’t know she had the twins Speed and Wiccan and that she and Vision have divorced already.

In the real world, Wanda Maximoff’s kids are helping their mother back up her feet while the combined might of the Avengers and the X-Men deal with three Kaijus that popped out in Krakoa. In another plane of existence, the current version of Wanda is dealing with her older version.

The older Scarlet Witch is trying to persuade Wanda to let go of her guilt and regrets.

With the kaijus proving to be too difficult despite having the most powerful men and women fighting them, the three versions of Wanda decide to join forces and stop the monsters.

Old Woman Wanda dissolves and returns to past Wanda to provide knowledge and a sense of purpose. Present Wanda also merges with past Wanda as a way to give her an idea of what has happened to her including her infamous “No More Mutants” moment from House of X.

The mutants in Krakoa then gather around the X-Men and the Avengers, with the implication being they plan on doing something about Scarlet Witch. Wanda also reveals that she finally knows who murdered her at the end of the Hellfire Gala event; maybe clearing Magneto’s name in the process.

The book will wrap up next issue and hopefully we get to see how Krakoa and the rest of the mutants see Wanda Maximoff. Follow me on Twitter at @thefanboyseo for more geek news!
