In Part 2, the Pillar Men were introduced and were the people responsible for making the stone masks which ultimately created the vampire Dio Brando. The setting was early in the 20th century with Joseph Joestar in the lead; the grandson of Jonathan Joestar who tragically died at the end of the first season stopping Dio from his reign of terror.
And let me leave this post with a tribute to the Pillar Men and their catchy music…
