6 Months with the Huawei MatePad T10 – 6 reasons to get the Huawei MatePad T10
Here’s a look back post for the Huawei MatePad T10 and its been more than 6 months actually since I got this from Huawei and I have to say that, while I didn’t plan it, it’s become an integral part of my digital life as a blogger and a content creator. Here are 6 reasons to get the Huawei MatePad T10!
But first, here’s my original Huawei MatePad T10 review before you read the 6 reasons to get the Huawei MatePad T10.
6. The OS can be tricky but lovable
The Huawei MatePad T10 comes with the new and Super Smooth OS (EMUI 10.1); APP Multiplier; powered by Kirin 710A. Being a Huawei product, it’s going to work with the Huawei OS (sorry Google). Initially, this was a confusing thing for me honestly but once I got the hang of it and started adding apps on the tablet, I completely forgot that I’m not even using a Google-powered product. Really good stuff and it helps keep me on my toes.
Oh and don’t worry, Google and their search engines are still lurking somewhere around. All you have to do is look around š
5. It’s a great tablet for watching videos online
This version of the Matepad features Powerful Performance too. As I mentioned in my past review, it features aĀ 9.7-inch 16:10 HD display; Symmetrical high amplitude speakers on both sides; Histen6.0 produces surround sound effects; 3D sound support. The speakers on both sides really did it in for me to be honest. It gives more oomph for your viewing experience.
4. Great for Zoom Calls whether its for online classes or events
As you know, bloggers have been locked down too so we aren’t able to go out to attend events or cover them. So mostly, we’re left at home and doing Zoom conference calls and attending virtual events. Thanks to the Huawei MatePad T10, its become easier for me to attend these events even when I’m not in my home office like when its my turn to look after my kid. The 9.7-inch 16:10 HD display also makes sure I get great quality display for zoom events or classes.
3. Portable and easy to lug around
I got this tablet a good quality protector but as it is, the Matepad T10 features a dimension of 240.2 mm x 159 mm x 7.85 mm. It’s on par with the high priced tablets out in the market, has good screen to body ratio doesn’t completely look like a big tablet.
Seriously, some of my bigger action figures are actually bigger than the screen of the Matepad T10, that’s a good indicator for me of the size of the device.
2. Two windows for the price of one
The Huawei MatePad T10 also features the Huawei App Multiplier, something that really comes in handy in this quarantine period whether its going to be for work or play. I loved this because I can do Facebook and blogging without having to switch screens. Moms would definitely like this especially when they are cooking or trying out a new recipe. So this came in handy more than what I anticipated.

With a price tag of P6,599, the Matepad T10 is a good investment whether its going to be used for everybody at home. And it gets even better because Huawei has announced good deals for the Matepad T10 and other Huawei products this month of May as part of their Together, For Mom campaign.
