Jolyne Cujoh is coming! Stone Ocean anime officially announced!

Jojo fanboys and fangirls are happy tonight as it was officially announced that Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Stone Ocean is happening.

The anime reveal was done through a special event held in Japan and featured all the previous voice actors for parts 1 through 5. This event was titled The “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure the Animation Special Event ~JOESTAR Inherited Soul ~”.

Many fans already noticed that something was up with a sixth vacant seat was spotted up on stage leading to speculation of the anime announcement. What fans in attendance weren’t expecting was that they had already casted the seiyu or voice actress for the Stone Ocean protagonist and that would be Ai Fairouz.

Here’s a summary for Stone Ocean:

The manga is the sixth part of Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga, and it continues the story from the previous entries. The manga takes place in 2011, after Golden Wind, and centers on Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Stardust Crusaders protagonist Jotaro Kujo. After Jolyne is framed for murder and sent to prison, she must face off against a former follower of Dio.

David Productions will also return to do the entire series like what they did with the other parts of the long running Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series.

The manga though is a long way down already as its currently on the eighth part in an alternate universe titled Jojolion starring an alternate reality Josuke Higashikata.
