Krypton’s Wallis Day to Play Kate Kane in Batwoman replacing Ruby Rose

The CW has found their new Kate Kane for the ongoing Batwoman TV series replacing former star Ruby Rose for the character with Wallis Day to play Kate Kane moving forward.

The current Batwoman series is in a bit of a mess with Ruby Rose leaving the series and ditching her character Kate Kane. The second season premieres with new character Javicia Leslie’s Ryan Wilder taking the mantle over after Kate’s “disappearance” after a plane crash. But in a recent episode its revealed that Kane has survived the crash with Day taking over the role and wearing heavy bandages in the sewers of Gotham City.

Viewers know that this is Kate Kane because of the familiar necklace which was part of the character’s history starting with Batwoman episode 1.

This is sad too because Rose has already stated that she’s willing to reprise her role as Kate Kane for the series although CW has already actively sought to remove her from past projects including her time in Crisis on Infinite Earths and the CW Justice League.
