And in case he looks vaguely familiar, its because he’s one of the thugs that confront Robert Pattinson’s Batman in the first trailer for Matt Reeves’ The Batman film.
The Tim Drake actor even acknowledges this in his tweet.
I ain’t know know crying thug no more. I’m the best detective in Gotham. I AM TIM DRAKE🦸🏽♂️ See you SEASON 3 FANDOM LOVEEEE @DCTitans @Variety 🌟🌟 pic.twitter.com/rrWlKtHpml

Tim Drake will be replacing Curran Walters’ Jason Todd who removed himself from the Robin handle at the end of the Titans season 2 and is slated to become the Red Hood, much like what comics Jason Todd has done. Of course there’s also the new dynamic to explore between Lycurgo’s Drake and Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson aka Nightwing.
In the comics Tim Drake was a brilliant teenager who sought out Batman and also deduced by himself that Bruce Wayne and Batman were one and the same way. He also found out for himself that Dick Grayson was also the first Robin.
Titans season 3 started filming October 2020 and is set to wrap up by June 2021. No word yet on the official release date but expect it to be aired first via HBO Max.
