Dark Nights Death Metal Ending Explained Part 1- Dark Nights Death Metal # 7 Spoilers

Checking back on the Dark Nights Death Metal ending with this Dark Nights Death Metal # 7 spoilers which was written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo from DC Comics.

So we’ll try to split this in to two posts. This first part we’ll focus on the ending of the war.

SPOILER ALERT

After Wonder Woman became a powerful goddess at the end of Dark Nights Death Metal # 6, she goes one on one with The Darkest Knight. The fight goes back in time and they even reach the moment of creation.

The former Batman Who Laughs pleads with Diana to help him kill “The Hand” aka the creators of the universe after revealing that the creators will still undo the universe even if he dies. Wonder Woman still proceeds to kill The Darkest Knight in the red sun at the end of time to snuff him out and end his reign.

Then everything went black for Diana.

So what happens is that the Hands aka the Creators bring everything back to life and restore them to what it was before DK’s desecration. They did however require a sort of trade. They want Diana to “ascend”.

Return of Everything

So it looks like everything will be restored, everything that was mucked up and removed by DC’s New 52. Golden Age Wonder Woman Creator also stated that everybody will remember everything so that could include stuff like Blackest Night, Zero Hour and Infinite Crisis. This would be a good idea too because my god, that was sooooo confusing for readers.

Remember how in New 52, Batman was operating for under 5 years and the DC creative team are telling people that all the major stuff in Batman’s life happened including Bane breaking his back and even No Man’s Land and even the Batman Inc. stuff. But that’s so weird right.
