New/Old Wonder Woman image of WW in Crimean War Released with additional details
DC Comics and Warner Bros has released a new/old Wonder Woman image which apparently was also supposed to be the plot for the original movie if Zack Snyder was running the DCEU.
So according to multiple sources, the original Wonder Woman movie was set in the 1810s during the Crimean War. But ever since Zack Snyder stepped down from directing Justice League, things have changed. Patty Jenkins took over development and DC projects went from being all inclusive to individual in approach. This is why we saw the first Wonder Woman movie set during World War I.
This also made the dialogue about Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which goes:
“A hundred years ago I walked away from mankind; from a century of horrors… Men made a world where standing together is impossible.”
