AEW Announces new games under AEW Games including untitled AEW console brawler

AEW or All Elite Wrestling went live recently to announce that they would be launching a game division called AEW Games and they did a faux Apple key note with Kenny Omega “cosplaying” the late Steve Jobs while doing the talking.

So from this video alone we know that they are developing a number of AEW themed games from a console brawler in the veins of WWE No Mercy (which is a really, really good game for the N64 from back in the day) to a mobile game called AEW Elite General Manager. There’s also a casino style game oh and Britt Baker came out to promote AEW Games shirts as well.

The biggest news so far was that they brought in Hideyuki Iwashita, one of the guys behind the aforementioned WWE No Mercy game for the Nintendo 64.  This makes it more interesting at the very least because we have someone who really knows his games working with the AEW team for their first ever game.
