Sony releases Black Lives Matter PS4 Theme for Free

Sony has released a free Black Lives Matter PS4 theme free to download on the PS Store. Check it out below.

Sony wants people to show their support to #BlackLivesMatter with this new static Playstation 4 theme. It’s simply called “Black Lives Matter Theme”.

As you can see from the images above, when the theme is enabled, the lower portion of the PS4’s user interface displays a solid black wallpaper with a yellow outline of the black raised fist, a symbol associated with the movement, on the right side of the screen. The theme displays the hashtag #BLM across a striped gray background on the upper side of the UI.

This isn’t the first gaming related content from producers and studios that connects with the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Activision released a quick update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that showed their support for the movement. Bungie also featured several items that support BLM. One of these items was an enamel pin with the words “be heard” as well as several emblems that can be used and showed off in Destiny 2.
